The idea of "its only 10 minutes" is really working to get the workouts started. I have allowed myself to stop twice at the 10 min mark and that has made starting all of the workouts easier. Once I get started I can usually get up to 30-50 min.

This is going to hard for me. Not necessarily the 10 minute of fitness a day but doing it every day and starting a streak. I am always gung ho at the beginning but fizzle out very fast. I actually joined this team in 2011... Here we go again.

Seems to be going well especially since I've realized that fitness output doesn't have to be restricted to "gym style workouts". I have been so totally sedentary for a long time so any activity that increases my heart rate etc. to where I'm breathing hard, perspiring heavily, and feel like I've exerted myself gets included on top of my basic walk and or sit-ups etc.
I've found a good site that works out the calories expended by thousands of activities.

I believe absolutely in my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I usually go to gym for 4 days a week do about 50 min cardio, 30 min strength and 15-20 min stretch. So, my goal now is to run at least 20-30 mins in park on those days I don't go to gym.

My goal is to exercise at least 10 min each day (minimum). I would like to do much more though - be able to stretch that 10 min to 30 min at least 4 times per week.

My goal is to just get moving - I'm sedentary by choice and I want to be active by choice - all it takes is one little movement - and I know I can do this!

My goal for this challenge is to dance for 10 minutes each day as part of the Fit2Feast challenge. I already do 10,000 steps each day and water aerobics 5 daze a week plus stability ball exercises for my physical therapy.

The best cure for stressing is to count your blessings...and a long walk won't hurt either!

Never give up what you want the MOST for what you want at the MOMENT!

My goal is to exercise at least 10 minutes daily using the spark videos i joined a gym last yr with my daughters was going 3 days a week then one moved out of town and other got a new job and stopped going so now im trying to get back into it put been only going once a week im hoping joining SP will get me back on track

I am going to start the official 10-minute daily exercise streak challenge. My life is so busy sometimes, but I know I can do it. (1) to lose weight (2) to feel better about myself (3) to help me stay motivate.

It took me 16 years to put all this weight and it will not fall off fast. I am taking it slow, and I too will win this race for good.

My goal is to do the minimum of at least 10 minutes every day. I think this will motivate me to MOVE on days that I don't have time, or simply don't feel like putting a workout video on. Thanks for the challenge, motivation, but most of all the camaraderie.

Day 4 was bowling night. Got home and started veging out to the football game. 11:30 pm guilt took over and went down and spent the longest 10 min of my life on my recumbent bike. THE STREAK STAYS ALIVE.

Hey the dog has to be walked. The least I can do is make that last 10 min. From there I will try to add min on the stationery bike since my knee is blown out and there isnt much aerobic stuff I can do

I did go up one flight of stairs at work, but needed to walk more. It was so busy at work, barely enough time to take a break. Will go for it again today. It is difficult as I had my left knee replaced earlier this year, and now the right side is giving me problems. But every little bit helps. right??

My goal is to do at least 10 minutes of exercise every day. I'm hoping that this 'routine' will help restore my interest in and appreciation of regular exercise so that it becomes a predictable part of my life again. Yesterday I spent 2.5 hours doing yard work. Way over my 10-minute minimum and not exactly my preferred exercise but a necessary evil nonetheless. Today I am stiff and sore and not terribly enthused about doing much of anything. But then I realized that I have a Zumba class to attend this evening. And I'm very grateful for that.

My goal is to do 10 minutes of exercise each day consistently. I tried to start off getting back into an exercise routine by doing pedometer steps challenge and wiped myself out. LOL! Realized that I need to start off slower than I thought. This challenge is very important to me as I really do want to be more fit and healthy.

Week 1 was a success and I'm looking forward to Week 2! My goals for Week 2 are:
1. continue with a min. of 10 mins of exercise daily but strive towards getting to 30 minutes daily.
2. Track my meals
3. 8 hours of sleep each night
4. continue with 64 oz of water daily
5. drink 1 "super food" shake (made with my nutra bullet) daily.
6. eat breakfast

Didn't get a walk in yesterday & decided to declare it a rest day. Trying to making small changes daily....Sat eve & Sun Morn I was, so involved with trying to plan my dinners for the week & shop that time just got away from me & I ended up falling asleep on the sofa before 10pm...OUCH!

Hubby & I both needed haircuts, so I asked him if he would walk to the barber shop (within walking distance from home) & he said "SURE" I was thrilled to be able to get both my/his haircut & my walk in @ the same time....total minutes there & back was 50 minutes & over 2 miles....WooHoo! (please with myself that I got hubby moving too)

Loose a total of 18 pounds somewhere near February 29, 2013 or on that day. Start with 10 minutes, and work up to five more total per week. As my knee recovers and body allows me to do... emoticon emoticon emoticon SMILE it doesn't cost a thing. emoticon

Inches Inches Inches lost are more important to me than pounds... :) well POUNDS ARE STILL IMPORTANT NOT AS MUCH AS INCHES THOSE SHOW THE REAL PROGRESS AND THAT IS A HEALTHIER WAY TO MAINTAIN YOUR WEIGHT!!

I have lost 60lbs since feb. Still need to lose 100lbs. Have hit my first plateau I have been stuck at 285-286 for 5 wks so my goal is to break that plateau...I already exercise 5-6 times a wk for 40-80 min but on my rest days I do nothing exercise wise so joined this challenge to remind myself that I should still do something even on a rest day...just keep it light.
