I went south for my last week of the challenge so the sun is frying me. I could use some gentle rain right now! 12.97 miles in the heat today

I'm trying to get outside and walk more! So far the weather's been nice to me - how's your Wii doing? Mine always acts SO surprised at my weight when it's measuring so I told it to stop being so rude!

I hiked for 85 minutes on the trails with the dogs before work this morning. 11,000 steps and 4.9 miles.

Worked out 2 days in a row. I'm still fighting myself to wake up early enough to get in a morning workout. I haven't done it yet.

As I write though, I realize I should try to get up intending to do 10 minutes at first. Maybe then, I can work up to a full 30 and then 50 minute workout.

I have to remember - baby steps work too!

I'm thinking this could fit perfectly into my day. If I go out on a walk for half of my lunch break at work, not only will I be getting my exercise, but that's 15 min out of the range of that snack machine!
I'm hoping that come a rainy day I'll have the mind set to do still the 10 minutes at home when it isn't nice enough to go on a walk that day.

30 - 60 minutes of exercise seems like so much work but 10 minutes is a cinch. I love this challenge!

* Start the Wii EA Active More Workouts challenge (again). On easy, so that it doesn't make me hate it.
* On rest days from the EA Active challenge, go for a walk.

I really do need to get more active again - I've let it slide lately!
