For week one I wanted to learn and try some new exercises - which I did. I wanted to work on building the habit of everyday exercise - I did really well the first four days, but was inconsistent the last three. I will continue to work on this one. I wanted to give myself a jump start on a new healthier life-style - which I have done.

I want to get back on track. My goal is to lose only 10 more lbs but I would like to tone up. I have MS and exercise is very important for my health. It makes me feel much better when I commit to exercise on a regular basis. emoticon

I joined this challenge to kick start my exercise habit. I work long days, often 10am until midnight and need some motivation to get moving when I really want to sit around. I know that after I work out I feel better. Just have to make this a habit.

an emotional eater and have been known to exercise I have worked out on and off all of my life- even completing 5k's. But now after coming out of a really emotionally and mentally brutal part of my life I would like to be healthy for me. I am trying not to terrorize myself by longing for the cute small clothes, potential benefits, and bragging rights (well keep the bragging rights :) of loosing weight. Instead I am thinking about my health and it helps control my depression. Plus setting goals helps you meet other challenges. So I am trying to be gentle with myself and acknowledge my mistakes and use that disappointment to propel me to improve. I am personally enjoying this process and am happy to be here.

I completed week 1. The videos were fun but challenging. I closely monitored my food intake, and participated in cardio exercise 6 days out of 7. I day I was just too sick with a sinus infection to exercise as much as usual.

I have finished week 1 of the challenge. I have been doing good exercising all week. I did 2 days of zumba and 4 days of running. I did a small cardio workout on Tuesday. I need to work on my eating habits. I need to find foods that will keep me fuller longer, and usually that is the food that is worst for me. If anyone can give me some ideas that would be great! Near the end of week one and I have to laugh...the exercises that can be done almost anywhere is mostly true...there is one caveot....if you are camping there are some creative alterations to the exercises that must be considered......but it is totally fun!

Hi Everyone! I am here to try to take off the weight I gained back in 2010. I officially 1st joined Spark September 2009 and lost over 50 lbs in less than 3 months. In 2010 I continuously gained, and recently found out I have a thyroid problem.

I'm late in joining the discussion because I've been at the gym and online less this past week! lol

My goal is to run a 10k in May. I did that one 11 years ago, and want to do it again. I'm not a runner, but I loved training all those years ago. Of course I want to lose weight, but as someone who has never known what it is like to be thin, getting in better shape in general is how I'm phrasing my goal, and the tangible measure of that is the 10k.

My goals for joining the 28 day bootcamp is to build exercise into my routine. I have been focusing the past year on building healthy eating habits and have maintained a 12 pound loss for about 5 months. Exercising regularly has been harder. Here I am in the new year.. hoping not to be a ciche of the new years resolution! But after the untimely passing of my Stepdad at 66 and having a family history of Diabetes type 2... its time.. really time.
