I joined this challenge as a way for me to make exercising a part of my daily routine, and turn it into a habit. I can totally do 10 minutes a day. My goals for the next 28 days include drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day, not drinking soda, and fulfilling the requirements of this challenge. My long term goals include losing 100 pounds by Christmas 2011.

1. Lose 5 pounds this month.
2. Eat at least one fruit & one vegetable a day.
3. Exercise 30-60 minutes 5 days a week.

I really need to increase the intensity of my workouts. I mainly walk for exercise & can't seem to get my heart rate up enough to lose weight. I would be OK with losing just inches though instead of pounds so that my clothes would fit better.

I hope by the end of this challenge that I will have formed some better eating and drinking habits. I would also like to lose a dress size. My mother inlaw got me some really cute pants for christmas for me but they are too small and I really want to fit into them. I also have the belly that looks like I'm pregnant but I gave birth to my twins 8 years ago (almost Jan 17) emoticon I want a smaller stomach than chest.

My goal for this week will be to incorporate yoga 3x's per week into my workout routine. My overall goal for the next 28 days is to lose 10lbs. I will do this by staying committed to working out 5 days a week (cardio & strength training), being mindful of my nutrition, taking my vitamins, and drinking an adequate amount of water.

New year - tone-up and loss 10 lbs. This challenge should get me started. I will be switching between yoga and walking for 6x wk. 1 lb a month slowly but surely. I will keep-up logging on food journal and drinking 8 glasses a day. Good luck to all.
