I needed the exercise kick- so I joined and just did the first days workout- loved it.. I could not do it all but saved to my PC so I can do it again next month.. these daily videos I think will really help me to get off my butt... thank you

I've Never done a 28 day challenge, and I need something to kick my 300 lbs butt in gear...I am graduating from nursing school this Dec 2011 so I need and want to loose over 50lbs by then... Thought if I can do this challenge while working part time, raising 4 kids AND starting my senior year in nursing school than I can do anything....

So heres to proving I can accomplish anything my heart desires!!!

My 2011 Goals...

My main goal is FITNESS...

F = Focus on One Course Until Successful = FOCUS.
I = Intentional...Be "on purpose" this year.
T = Treasure all relationships.
N = Never give up.
E = Enjoy every day to its fullest.
S = Seek to serve God in everything I do.
S = Serve others.

My plan to accomplish this goal...Login to Spark People every day. Plan what I eat & stay with my plan. Exercise 30 minutes 5 or more days per week. Read my Bible daily following a Read-the-Bible-Through plan. Start each day with a prayer & praise. Focus on what God is doing in and through me!!

These are broad plans which will be accomplished one day at a time...

At the end of 2011 I will have lost at least 50 lbs.

I want strength training to be a regular part of my fitness plan this year.I completed my first workout bootcamp in December, and I want to do another one to keep the momentum going. I did a lot of adapting of the exercises my first time around, and I want to aim to complete more of them this time exactly as presented. My belief is that I will get better with practice!

My goals are to hold my self accountable for the food I eat and exercise at least five times a week to start. I recently lost a lot of weight after gallbladder surgery, but it's not where I need to be. The holidays helped my weight to start creeping back up - a trend that I need to stop. I'm also giving up sodas (drinking milk, juice - not too much, water and tea without adding anything to it) and cutting out sugar for two weeks to give my body time to reset itself. I've got a fridge full of fruits and vegetables and a freezer full of lean meats. Let's go 2011!

Happy New Year everyone! My main goal at this point is just to do it! I have a very poor follow through habit that I am going to change this year! I am having a lot of health issues so I'm not sure what I am capable of doing but I know, no matter what, I can do my best!

My fitness goals this year are based on health instead of weight (but losing weight would also be a nice bonus!). I am 40 years old and have gained 20 lbs. and always feel tired and unmotivated. I suspect a hormone imbalance of some sort but nothing has shown up in the bloodwork. So instead I am going to focus on improving my diet and exercise routine. Make better food choices and exercise consistently are part of my goals for 2011!

My goal this week is to eat healthier and workout at least 5 times! I am 188lbs right now, so losing 2-3 lbs this week would be wonderful as well!

Slow but sure wins the race--I just need a kick-start in to the post-holiday exercise...Want to be consistent even with a busy job. Goal for the year is to lose 50lbs and this is a great way to start it. :)

In 2002 I suffered a heart attack and my goal is to prevent another one from happening. I have lost a small amount of weight since then, but I still have a lot more to go. My biggest hurdle is fear of the unknown. Every year I have a stress test done and my heart is strong and healthy with no damage to the heart muscle thank God!! My Dr. says it's okay for me to workout, but I am still scared. Any advise would be great Thanks.

I joined this challenge for a variety of reasons, the most important however is to give me a good boost of getting started. I'm really motivated that this be the year that I start to love myself again and the year that my husband starts loving me again.

My total goal (read end goal) is to lose 95 pounds. During this challenge I would like to lose at least 8 pounds (but im gonna shoot for 10 :) Think that this is gonna be my year.

I lost most of my weight last year and proceeded to gain it all back. I have been eating really poorly and not exercising the past month or more.

I'm using this challenge to get me started toward reaching my goal of 33 pounds by my birthday in September. My goals for the challenge:

1. Log all food daily
2. Log my exercise
3. Exercise at least 10 min. daily
4. 1500 calories per day

I did this bootcamp last year and am happy to do it again this year. I started to see good results with my strength training and it helped me take the next steps to yoga and pilates.

However, this year I will have to make some modifications because of my health issues. I can't do the cardio every day, but every other day and I'll combine more stretching with the ST each day. My goal is to simply continue to work my way back to a level of 'normal' function for me after being seriously ill last spring. I look forward to the challenge!

My main goal is to get into a fitness routine. I usually jump into something incredibly intense & exhausting (P90X/Insanity) I'll finish a program & quit working out. I want to set an example to my daughter that daily activity isn't awful & can be reasonable. Losing the extra weight will be a bonus!

I am hoping to lose 15 pounds. I have done Weight Watchers for 7 years and made Lifetime 7 years ago this April but have been on and off for the last couple years and am now about 10 pounds over the highest I can be for my height. I already exercise at least 3 to 4 times a week but will increase to every day and will start eating better. I couldn't control myself this holiday season and gained about 5 more pounds. Plus I'm going through the big M and it's a lot harder to lose weight than it used to be 7 years ago.
