My Goals:

1. Exercise most days.
2. Get outside! I work from home and there have been many days I hadn't stepped foot outside my front door even for a few minutes. This isn't healthy! My goal is to get outside every day, no matter the weather or what I do. Whether it's to go for a walk or just to stand in the sunshine (or rain).
3. Eat healthier. No more binging. No more having days where I don't care what I eat. It all matters.
4. Lose 5 pounds and get in the 120's. I've been yoyoing between 131 and 135 for MONTHS. It's ridiculous. Every time I get down to 131, I lose my motivation and regain the weight. I'm going to break this cycle this month with this challenge.

I've lost almost 100 pounds but I have been stuck there for more than a year and a half. My main goal is to lose the last 60 lbs. I intend to exercise every day and to practice some kind of mediatation or serenity program each day. I have a stressful job and I need to find a healthy way to reduce stress, as my primary method is eating! That has to change.

I'm starting the challenge to jump start my weight loss. My resolution this year is to take time to take care of myself along with my family. I've always taken care of those around me and I've let myself go. It's time to take care of me for a change :)

I am here because I want to be healthy and feel good. I want to enjoy life and no longer be a prisoner to obesity.
I hope to accomplish learning a new healthy lifestyle. A new healthier way to eat and hopefully learn to enjoy exercise enough that I look forward to it instead of dreading it and finding any excuse not to do it.
I want to be obedient to God and follow his will for me. emoticon

My main goals for 2011 is to get into a pattern of healthy living. This includes healthy eating and exercise as well as quitting smoking. Today was my "stop" date. I have had 1 1/2 cigarettes today (and it is almost 2 p.m.) Not too bad for a pack a day (sometimes a pack and a half a day) smoker. I am taking baby steps so as to not get overwhelmed but I am determined and my husband is being very supportive. I am glad to be getting back to SparkPeople as well. I have let it go for the past several months as my life got busier at work and with the holidays, but another goal that I have is to make this site part of my daily routine.

My Goals for 2011

1. Get back into the routine of exercising: I have lost that routine since I began traveling. Exercise does not have to stop while I am traveling. I can fit it in to my daily routine, where ever I may be.
2. Run a 5K by March 1: Start doing the C25K program and stay committed to it.
3. Get below 200 pounds: I haven't been there since college. I have the tools to lose the weight--48 lbs, I just need to do it.

And I will.

I'm here to have support while continuing weight loss and increasing exercise. My goal this week is to try new types of exercises. I run when there isn't ice outside (so hasn't happened in a few weeks!) and need something to occupy me when I'm stuck inside.

My goal, in joining this challenge, is to get back to my healthy lifestyle. My work schedule was so hectic for the past two months that I allowed myself to slide back into some old, not so healthy, habits. With the daily challenges, I know I'll make my health and fitness a priority again by the end of the 28 days!!

I always give up, I never finish what I start. I always have a valid reason, but it ends up being my excuse. I need to be fit for myself, and my children. I don't want to hurt so bad just going outside to play with them. Anything would be an improvement, but I'm starting with small goals. To eat healthier, be accountable for my food behaviors, and lose some weight along the way.

I don't have a problem getting cardio workouts in, but I struggle with strength training. I am hoping that by joining this team and participating in this challenge, I will make strength training a regular part of my life. My goal is to complete all of the parts of this challenge(so that strength training is a habit) and start getting my freggie and water servings back on track.

One year ago I was working out minimum 45 minutes a day and weighing about 20 pounds lighter than I had in a few years. Then things happened and I got off track and just never seemed to get back on. My commitment to the 28 Day Challenge is my jumpstart to getting back on track and I have even recruited a friend to start with me. I did it before and I will do it again! My goal is to be more consistent with my fitness program. I lost 30 lbs. when I was consistent but gained it all back because it's been hit and miss with my exercises. I felt so much happier and better about myself when I had a plan. Now I've been making up excuses as to why I don't have the time. NO MORE!

My goal is to complete this challenge so that I can get some good habits started. I'm terribly lazy, and a horrible procrastinator, so if I can get myself into the good habits of tracking my food and doing a little bit of exercise each day, it will make it that much easier to step it up and start losing some serious weight.

My reason for starting this challenge was to kick a restart fire under me. I need to get back to basics and really believe in myself and my goals. I want to lose at least 5 lbs this month with longer goal of losing 13.5 lbs by the end of March to finally get to my 100 loss column.

I've tried this site more than once, and I never get past two weeks. 100 lbs is going to come off my body this time weather it likes it or not. Cause I don't like it or myself. This is the heaviest I have ever been in my life. Most of my weight is my fault but some of it is from being pregnant, but I'm not making excuses I'm just saying that wait is hard to lose. But as of 1/1/2012 I WILL weight my goal weight (135) and the 28 day bootcamp is gonna kick my booty into gear.

LETS DO THIS

Hi, my goal fro, this 28 day challenge is to set a routine for working out every day and make it a habit for my life. I also aside from making exercise my daily habit would really appreciate losing weight (have 30 to lose total), my first goal is to lose 5 pounds. Then 5 more. And at every five lb increment I am rewarding myself with a special non food treat. The ultimate reason fro doing this is my active duty husband is coming home in mid February. He will finally be home with me and the baby and I would really like my body to be somewhat reminiscent of the pre baby size 8 days.

I always have good intentions when it comes to fitness goals but I have a hard time sticking to them.I'd like to stick to this and hopefully it will be building block for future fitness goals.I'd also like to tone up, lose some weight, and get into a good fitness routine again. :)

I'm hoping to get back on track for the new year. I started SP in May, 2010 and was focused and doing great. After my dad died unexpectedly in August, I've really floundered and have gained most of the weight I had lost back. Having gotten through the holidays, I'm feeling in a better space to commit (again). Here are my goals:

* Use the nutrition tracker every day & record everything
emoticon

* Complete toning video every day of the challenge

* Aerobic exercise (treadmill, step or floor aerobics) 5 days a week (at least 20 min/day)

I'd like to lose 22 pounds by July 1, 2011
