Day 1 of week 2 today.
Plan for the vids is to use MUCH heavier weights than last week, and ankle weights for the leg raises.

Doing an extra Spark vid shouldn't be a problem, but tracking food will be - I'm dreadful at it - hate the weighing everything, but this IS a challenge, so that's part of the whole POINT - to BE CHALLENGED!

Day six week two completed. Whew! Completed cruchless core as my additional exercisie. Hope it is okay to do the same one. It takes me a few times to get the exercises down. Did see some improvement in my form emoticon Not much of course, but I am looking for the tiny increments. I am tracking my food today as usual, hope the results are better.

My core muscles need a great deal of work. Tomorrow will be my second additional exercise-Pilates emoticon
Food tracking revealed some surprises. We had been shopping today, and lunched at Olive Garden. When I completed tracking I was actually short calories excluding exercise. Seemed like I ate a great deal more than it showed! emoticon

Tracking can be extremely difficult, especially in the beginning. I have been doing it six years, and it is still difficult at times. Keeping track of all the bites without access to the means. Often, it isn't an exact science, but is a very useful tool. At times you will be extremely surprised at your end result. It gets easier.
Looks like you have a plan! Great momentum! Don't overdo and you will obtain the goals you have set for yourself. emoticon

Tracking my food is one of the hardest things for me. I have been doing a lot better this week. I tracked everyday but one. I am going to add a core workout twice this week. I am also going to try and do all the other weekly workouts two times each. I hope I can see better results for next week!

I just did the 10 minute Cardio kickboxing workout for my second extra video this week. I lacked coodination but I kept my heartrate up. Another difficult one for sure!

I track my food daily since I started with SP in January! The only way to hold myself accountable.

I usually track my food daily but these last few days haven't been "normal" so tomorrow I began back on nutrition tracking.

Along with the kick boxing video, I did the resistance band video for the arms.

Hi!
I track my food every day of the week! I have since I started my LIVE IT, back in Aug 09. It is the only way I can tell how I am doing. I hope some day to be good enough at it, I can guesstimate! emoticon But, do not see that happening any time soon!

Today I did my extra video for the week 2 challenge.
I hadn't done this one is a while and thought to myself, wow it should be easier now? BOY, was I wrong! emoticon I definitely am in better shape, but I still can not do the whole thing without stopping and going back to the easier steps! emoticon Whoa is me! Maybe, some day on that too, but alias, no time soon on that either! emoticon

Day 2 of Week 2 for me today. I decided on the 12 min Pilates abs workout video as my extra video for the week & just finished it. A couple of those moves are really difficult for me. I might keep doing it beyond Week 2 and hopefully I'll improve my technique.

Good luck to everyone!

Like many other people who have posted already, I track my food every day. I try to keep the protein high and the carbs low.
I have enjoyed each of the videos from week 1 and will repeat them this week in addition to all the cardio I do each day.
Hope everyone has a great week!

I have been tracking my food for the last six years or so. Not always with Spark, and not always in the same manner as my needs change. I find it one of the most useful ways of keeping tabs on my nutritional needs. I have tracked both yesterday and today. At the current time I am learning that although it "feels" like I am eating a great deal, I am actually not getting enough calories-particularly when coupled with the exercise. This sabatoges my efforts at health.
Today, I added the extra video, using the 10 minute core. Pilates is a major challenge. emoticon
After careful consideration I have made the decision to change my exercise routine. I have always done 7 days of 30 minutes aerobic activity, walk a at least 2000 steps(already reduced) plus the various new exercises I wanted to include. emoticon
Too much. I now plan to take two days break from my aerobic activity. Very likely the ones I do my new
exercises. I will re-evaluate again after a trial period.

Teresa

I started tracking my food here on Spark People about 6 months ago and I feel like I do a better job on my food choices. I have tracked my food for WW for a long time and I was surprised to find out how many calories I was eating before I started tracking with Spark People.

I agree with you all...tracking food is the easy part. I just finished today's video; I love that! Haven't decided yet what my extra video will be. I need to go surf through them, probably something that will focus on the core.

Good luck with Week 2 all!

I've always tracked my food on a daily basis, so no problems there, apart from not eating enough!!

I signed up for a 3 year membership at the gym yesterday and had my induction session this morning.
So there is my additional step, gym Mon-Fri.

For those of you in Week 2 of the Bootcamp, you are asked to track your food at least 3 days a week. Use this thread and forum to discuss this strategy, any tips you may have for others and how you are doing.
