Just completed day 3 of week 2 and finding all the neat things on the Spark Peoples pages! I discovered the video section and have tried several of them. I like the 6 and 10 minute ones. Whenever I find some time in my day, (I can quickly do one of these videos! And I thought I had no time to excercize) emoticon

Struggling with keeping my food goals under my daily totals. Seems family and friends keep changing my schedual and I eat what's going instead emoticon

I found it's easier to enter your meals in the cal. calculator and it will track it for you. Then enter it on your fav. then you don't have to redo it every time you eat the same thing. I found the easy part is eating the right amount of cal. The hard part is eating the right amount of fat, carbs. delicate balance. plus working out at the lower end of your heart range.

Week 2 Day 3 done! Today I was able to do the added video for the week. For today I chose the 10 min kickboxing video. I really liked it!!! I am not cordinated enough to do the grapevine and punch at the same time! LOL I will do it again though for sure. For my second video I think I want to try one of the stability ball workouts. emoticon

Week 2, Day 1.
Just did the 10 minute crunchless abs workout and I know that my core is going to be burning later. I am going to play Wii tennis to get my cardio in. Then finish my homework and to do's around the house. I'm feeling so good, I wish I would have started earlier in the day (and in my life)
Good luck everyone!

Today is day 1 of week 2 for me and I am super excited to do this. I was a little discouraged for a bit because I have been trying so hard(this is the most I've exercised in a while) and I hadn't lost a thing. I stepped on the scale this morning tho, and dropped 2 pounds. I triple checked to make sure. Totally excited!!! I did miss a couple days of week one but I made sure I made them up on other days. Most days I did an extra video with it as well.

I am really looking forward to doing the videos again and adding more to them too! Good luck to you all and keep up the good work!!! :)

W2D1 :)

I'm down 3 lbs. since last Monday, yea!

I am really looking forward to this week. My schedule has been thrown off this morning, as I have to drive my daughter to school, since the person who usually drives in the a.m. is sick, but that's okay. Actually, it's good. I think we need to be thrown out of our normal routine once in awhile to help us adjust to new situations.

As soon as get home, before I finish getting ready for work, I will complete the video and then do my cardio later this afternoon.

Happy week 2 to you all!

Hi, today i started Day 1 of week 2:
Started off strong with Cardio 35min Bike 10, worked at 85% heart rate so i was happy. Felt great all day. I have had problems with losing weight so today i realized even though i was eating the right amount of cal. to lose i needed to get in the right range of fat & protein. so today i entered all my food in the recipe calculator and found out how much fat and protein i would be getting. It really helped me stay in the right range. SOoo i hope to lose more weight by the end of week two. I have lost 1" every where last week though! Yeah!

Needenergy -- that's REAL progress! the real progress is the slow progress. If you continued at that rate, you'll be down 4 pounds and then some by the end of boot camp! The inches start to show with time! One thing that I noticed about boot camp is that it has a gradual suggested increase and it's a great way to get your body stronger without overdoing it!. Don't despair -- this is significant and you are going in the right direction!

Today is the first day of week 2 for me. I missed a couple of strength training days during week 1, but I'm not beating myself up about it. This is the most I have ever worked out. I have done 5 consecutive days of cardio and I am damn proud of myself. I am tired and proud. I am lookin' forward to week 2. I am going to challenge myself to complete all of the strength training videos.

I'm doing well on my second week of week 2 (start over) and it's a good thing the cardio is 5 days a week. I'm looking forward to clicking on that check list.
I'm enjoying emoticon ! An excellent prize! I have logged food for 3 days in a row! That's a bit change for me. I may have a no-log day tomorrow, but I'm enjoying the calorie differential feature on the phone app report. It feels really good to KNOW the calorie deficit.

I am so glad I joined this bootcamp! After being plateaued at the same weight for months and then gaining 4 pounds in December, I have lost 6 pounds in the last 6 weeks! I love the videos and am hurting in places I didn't hurt before, because this change-up in my workouts is working my muscles differently. I'm more consistent with the strength training than ever! I'm actually doing less cardio than I did before----chewing off smaller bites at a time, and have cut back on the hiking and walking I was doing. My hips and knees were hurting and I was in pain every day, so after reading a spark article on overtraining, decided I needed to ease back a little. I'm feeling far less pain, and losing weight!

going strong; and loving that I actually can do much more than I ever thought that I could. There will always be things that I cannot do due to my knees and my back problems but I am doing pretty good, I think.:)

I did day 8 of the boot camp workout challenge today what is a repeat of day 1 I am now trying to count calorie three day a week. I hope this is what I need to increase my weight loss. My extra video for the challenge was the 1st day of the New YOU Bootcamp: Day 1 Workout. I wanted to see the different. The you bootcamp is harder but I did most of it.

Today is Day 1 of Week 2. I'm excited. Lost 3 lbs so far. I really like the videos.

Winter weather brings extra challenge for cardio activity. There are, however, many activities you can do indoors. When unable to get out, I began to investigate things I could do indoors. It is amazing the workouts you can get. Might not be as interesting, particularly if you are extremely socical, but you will burn calories. In fact, Spark has videos you might want to look at for cardio, you might pick one up at the library to try. I have become a wii fit junkie, and am looking forward to beginning a dance workout. Sometimes it takes creativity to find something you can stick with, but it is possible.
I wish you luck in finding something suitable. emoticon

The tracking is easy--the finding 1/2 hour for cardio--in the snow--is hard! If I can get to the gym, I can do more but I have to work some days and can't get there. I am discouraged but will keep trying!
