Today is Day One of Week Two.
*I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 2lbs!
*I've already tracked all my eating last week, so continuing this week should be easy enough.
*I'll be adding the 10 Minute Crunchless Core Workout and the 10 Minute Best Stretches for Runners to my routine.
*I'm really enjoying the boot camp but I have a feeling that some of the exercises are getting away from me. My belly gets in the way and make some of the moves impossible. I'm just going to need to take a little extra time this week, maybe with a mirror next to me, and figure out the best way to get around the bulge and get the best out of what I'm doing.

This week has a challenge - 3 day business trip, which means a city centre hotel. I will try to choose the healthiest options for meals, but won't be able to track calories well. For exercise, I will take my resistance bands with me - easy to pack and even if the hotel room is small, I should be able to do some decent strength training. Not sure how to fit cardio in, but I will try.

Just finished Week1 and I'm going to choose the 10 minute jump start cardio for my bonus. I like it doesn't require any equipment. It's funny how in just a week my arms and legs feel so much stronger.

Well I just finished week 2. I have been doing the 10 videos twice a day and this week added the two extra videos. I chose the 10 minute crunchless core video.

So I just finished my day 1, week 2 workout. I'm upping the challenge for myself every week. Last week I did 30 mins of cardio 5 times a week and the daily videos just once. This week I plan on doing 45 mins of cardio 5 times a week, run through the daily videos twice, and adding a bonus video to the lower body and core videos: the butt-blasting workout, 15 minute abs, and the inner/outer thigh workout. I'm also going to attempt extra strength training for upper and lower body with the weight machines in the gym on those days. Hoping this will help me burn fat and build some muscle as well as lose a decent amount of weight this week. Weigh in day is Friday, so we'll see :) Good luck to everyone!!

I have a question: For each week, is it the same 7 videos from week one? Just wondering :)

This time last week I was excited to do even one girlie push-up and this morning I pounded out 7 before my arms gave out. I can't believe how much stronger I am already, that is very exciting!! I am going to push a little harder the rest of this week and see if I can make it to 10 lbs total loss before Sunday! Have a good 2nd week everyone!

I'm really proud to say I'm into day two of week two. I ALMOST said the hell with it all this weekend (My usual quitting time for any program is the first week). I logged on though and decided one bad day (which really wasn't bad, it just wasn't PERFECT) isn't going to stop this train from reaching its destination! Sunday was hard as well, but I just told myself to get through it and avoided my scale like the plague, just in case. Yesterday was good, and today I feel great and it was sooo worth sticking it through. I look forward to weighing in next Monday and am a rolling ball of positivity today.

I've been getting in the ten minute cardio vids throughout the day for a total of 30 mins. I do ten in the morning/lunch/ and evening. There is a team called the quickfire challenge team that is all about doing one minute or a certain number of reps/sets per day that can be done anywhere. You may want to check it out!

I was planning on doing one of the videos every day but with my work schedule, being a nurse, (some days are so extremely hectic and busy) running the entire shift, where I end up with a migraine, I have had to taper it to what I can do. I am doing at least 10 minutes a day of something. I work a little harder on the days off.

For me I think it will be working on at least one or two workouts that are dealing with the abs for sure.

I finished week two. This is the first time I can remember exercising 14 days straight. I normally always took Saturday or Sunday as an off day even if I was not consistent about the other six days. It is only because of my commitment to this challenge that I have stuck with it. I'm moving on to week three determined to stick with the program.

I finished week 2 today so will be moving on to the week 3 chat group. I had a good week as far as workouts went. I did all the resistance videos twice plus 30 – 40 min of cardio 5 days. I am feeling good but am disappointed I have not lost more weight during these 2 weeks. Hopefully the next two will show more progress. If not at least I am feeling good and enjoying working out again. Good luck during you week 2!

Wow...week two is done. While I did good with my eating, videos, etc., I did really bad with my tracking. I don't know what happened. I was just a bit off all week.

I've been considering doing W2 over again, but no, I moving on to W3 and accepting the fact that I can't be perfect, lol! Really, it's the failures that we need to keep us going in the right direction, so I will not go back, I will continue to move forward.

Happy W3 to everyone!

Week 2 day 1. I feel more powerful that I did when I started. That feels really good! I feel like I'm getting back into life and activity. I feel awake more when I am awake and I sleep better at night.

I track my food, water and other things here daily so that will not be a challenge for me. Extra video I'm reading from others? Well, I'll just have to look and see what I want to do with that. I couldn't do day 7 of week 1 very well but did what I could to my ability. So, that will be a challenge for me this week. But I am hoping some of the videos will get a little easier with week 2. We'll see.

Now, off to do day 1 of week2!!

This week was a challenge to keep up with it because my work week was nuts!!! I ended up having some time today to catch up on videos which worked out well.

Next week, I am going to try doing the videos in the morning and make it a top priority.

I didn't like having to track my food intake here because I use another program for that which has all my personalized food items already in it. argh. That was a little frustrating for me, but I did the minimal 3 days.

Overall, I really love this and am looking forward to week 3.

Week 2 day 4 it is all good here. I will try a different bonus video today. I like the strength better than the cardio for sure, but I am doing the cardio. Like the jump rope 10 min video but darn it is tough. I cannot do some of the moves. It is kind of funny how uncoordinated I am.
Funny thing I can go to the YMCA I am a member, but I prefer the 10 min videos here on SP. They are just not so much taking them one at a time, I am never intimidated by them.
Thanks SP!

Thanks Mindybean. i was thinking I would drive the route today before I park at work and try and get an idea of the distance. I just started my determined decision with this challenge on Feb.1 and have lost 4 lbs. It helps me want to get out there in the cold at lunch and do it again!

Gammadi, you'll have to guess how fast you were walking. If you think it would have taken you 15 minutes to walk a mile you choose the 15 min per mile & then enter how many minutes you walked. For me, a 15 minute mile is a fairly fast pace. For others I'm sure it would be a normal pace. If you don't know you can guess. The only thing that will be wrong will be the number of calories you burned.

KNURLHALL, I need to work on not weighing every day also. I try not to let the number affect my outlook but when the number goes up I do get a little down. It's just a number though so I don't let it have too much power over me. I'd like to just weigh once a month so that I could, hopefully, see a big drop but I don't have the willpower to resist the scales! :)

I am in day 3 of week 2 boot camp...feel really good mentally and physically...I think that I have increased mobility by doing the toner videos...and have discovered that my already good flexability has seriously been improved by my weight loss.

I lost 3 pounds in the first week (and that was with a Super Bowl party being included that week), so I am VERY happy. My biggest problem is that I have serious issues with my knees, so some of the video exercises are just NOT going to happen...but I follow the coach's instructions and drop back to one of the other exercises from the video. I am NOT going to let my knee problems slow me down from improving the rest of my mobility...the videos make me push myself and I find that there are distinct improvements in mobility and this enforces my resolve to keep in Sparking!!!!

Peace & love, fellow "boots"!

Keep up the good work, everyone!
I had a little extra time on Monday to plan my meals and workouts. So, I entered all my fitness routines (bootcamp videos and cardio) into the tracker. And, I planned all my meals (lean meats, whole grains, fruits and veggies) and put them into the nutrition tracker. Now I feel like I am accountable to Spark People to stick with my plan. Seeing it in print really makes a difference.
Just a tip that worked for me that I wanted to share.

BHSUZYCUE – Great job on the walk in the snow!

CHRISHC – Yes balancing the fat/protein/carbs is my challenge as well. I am slowly getting better about it. I am also tracking fiber just through another wrench into the works.

GAMMADI – yes I find my schedule is affected a lot by family and friends too. I have learned to keep a protein or fiber bar in my purse and just tell them no, and when food is around, if I am hungry, I pull out the snack bar. It has saved my calorie intake a ton. Keep working on it, you can do it.

Just finished week 2 day 3; I am running through all the strength training videos twice this week and counting that as my extra video. I am feeling really good. I already had to increase my weight on some of the dumbbell exercise. I that is because I have done plenty of weight training in the past my muscles have rebounded quickly.

Now I just need to see some progress on the scale. I am having to really control myself to not weigh every day. I might find I see more progress if I only weigh in once a week.
