I'm still around and working hard to get back on track again.

My main first focus right now is on exercise. Exercise seems to do me more overall good.... and part of this rough year was due to not being able to do almost any cardio for over six months. (I had bad medication reactions, including a vacine, that resulted in me breaking out in hives literally all over my body whenever I'd get overheated. Just overheated, not even sweating yet... so for the first few months even strength training could set it off. Cardio was therefore definitely a bad experience.) I could just hope to maintain the plateau until recently This month I'm working hard to get back exercise-wise to where I was before the "bad dream" period started. I've broken many major milestones on that exercise front. This week has been great -though sorer than I'd like.

The only real major huddle now is getting routines done with better consistency. Doing well this week and hoping to have new routines in place by sometime next week.

Wish this went faster but I'm happy with anything that is forward progress again and that is what I'm finally seeing.

To ensure that I carry this momentum forward, I'm reviving the old style monthly exercise challenge for November. I'm setting it up now so I don't forget during the multiple birthday madness of my next two weeks.
Feel free to get ready to move those bodies more! The next 10 days are the warmup and then let the madness continue....

Walked 5 miles on the beach! It was fantastic! The dogs enjoyed a shorter walk last night. The older dog made it 2 miles.

I completed my first 5K this morning under 40 minutes. Not bad since I have only been able to walk/run twice a week.

Due to some back problems, I have slacked off on my 10,000 steps a day. I'm setting a goal of 8,000 this week and will work my way back up to the ten thousand by the end of the month.

Great to have you back. I was also inactive during the summer. Yes, we do need a new challenge. I will join you.

I pledge to do 1000 minutes of cardio for the month. Haven't started yet. I will before the day is over. I also plan on doing strength training 3x a week.

Ok, time to start a new challenge. Must have been a busy summer. Let's get back into some action. I plan on working out at least 5 days a week and getting myself disciplined again, I wish my husband would take the challenge with me,
