I maintained all year OK
but something unknown happened near end of August
No matter what I did in September or October, the scale kept creeping upward.
In November I worked hard to stop the creep. I think *knock on wood* that it worked.
In December I'm resolved to come as close as possible to getting those last few pounds back off so I end year about the same place I started the year.
2012 - continue into serious weight loss mode again. That means better menu planning and more consistent cardio

December -

1) I started a serious exercise push. By Friday, I'd logged more exercise so far this month than in the entire month of November. I've slacked a bit this weekend but tonight (or in the morning) the saga will pick up again.
Next goal: working toward making December fitness minutes be the best month of the year!

2) Eating .... eating cleaner this month and avoiding the sweets
Saving the good menu planning push as project for next month

3) Project for the month: Declutter!! and reorganize for sanity -
Started with the kitchen/pantry and bathroom....
with side trips into the livingroom

~~~~ Holiday Eating:
Sweets are limited to 2 or 3: (preferably things I've baked so I know ingredients good)
One slice of Eggnog Bundt and 1-2 other things to be determined later
going heavy on the
* veggie platter
* fruit platter
* shrimp
and avoiding the rest.
main course is cooked by DH so will be safe choice
(Christmas tends to be Lamb as that is his favorite)
there is always a salad or baked sweet potato or other safe veggie choice
(In fact over the years the "unsafe" veggie choices have slowly vanished.
DH's family has been retrained and they don't know it. emoticon )
I am making healthy choices to my menu for the holidays. It worked out nicely for Thxgiving.
