Hubby and I decided to check out the Wii fit (which is very fun, but now I can definitely see how easily people could get injured if they don't start slow). Been trying to get to the gym when I can and I even have a walking buddy at work now! Lost 3lbs so far! A great jump start after months of not seeing the scale or measuring tape change!

There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.

I have a hit a major goal i was able to walk walmart twice with out haveing to take one break. If i keep this up i will be able to go back to work sooner rather than later.....I cant wait!

Nothing big, but it's been a while since I have been able to get my butt back to the gym, and yesturday... I did it! First of the month... is always a good time for a new start. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical to start. I will be doing 30 more today and weight training! =D

Since I had lapband surgery on May 12th, I am down 20 pounds - not as much as some people that I know who have the band, but it's a lot more than I would be down on my own! I've been really good at getting in at least 8 glasses of water - sometimes more and sometimes double that amount!

I don't know if any of you have an Isaac's near you (it's a sandwich place), but I love their magpie! I looked up the nutritional values...and for the size of it and what's in it, the calories are less than 400, fat is 14, and protein is like 32 grams or something...I had one for lunch yesterday (it took me over an hour to eat it, but then i wasn't hungry at all the rest of the night) and I'm having one for lunch today (they had a buy one, get one free deal). I love these things! I love it because it keeps me feeling full for hours and I don't want to snack on anything at all...which is a habit of mine...

Well, I made it to my first goal!!! I have lost 10 lbs (10.2 to be exact) since joining on May 2nd. I have been working out like crazy and for the most part I've stayed on plan.

I was able to get up for the 2 time this week at 5:30 to get in a morning workout. I am really going to enjoy getting a workout in the morning and in the evening.

So a small yay me. I RAN for 5 minutes yesterday on the treadmill. I never run, but I was upset and it was going to be a short workout. So I decided to run!

SO I lost .5 pounds!!! Ok so it is not a lot but it is something. Official weigh in on friday so I need to be very good to get it to be a full pound! No candy for me!

I had a REALLY GOOD day today! I work nights, so I was in bed this a.m. by 8:30 & I was so proud of myself for not eating some high carb snack right before going to bed.....usually a big hurdle for me. I got 7 1/2 hours sleep, which is really good for me! Woke up feeling energetic & well rested! I had a lean cuisine & a saute'ed summer squash for dinner AND I didn't eat while watching TV!!! Which is also a major bad habit of mine. I prepared fresh veggies for dinner to take to work----more summer squash & some butternut squash with cinnamin & splenda for a yummy treat!

Time sure was flying, while I was enjoying my healthy & productive "morning", but I only left myself 30 minutes for a workout.....I originally planned on 45 min. But I put on my shoes & worked out like a banshee for 30 min. & worked up a great sweat. Even though it wasn't 45 min, as planned, I felt proud & excited at the end of my workout! I just pray that I can have many more days like today! If I can keep this up......I will be well on my way to turning that corner in my life to breaking away from my binge-disorder.

I'm proud to have made it 4 days "binge free" and feel more confident, now, that I can make it 21!! I know there are always those "bad days" that creep up on us.....& snag us on our journey......but I am hopeful & feel more inspiration than ever!

I am proud that I now have 14 Milky Way bars in my desk drawer! There's an older gentleman at work that brings us each a candy bar every day that he works, and he's just too sweet to tell him not to do it anymore, so I've just been stashing them in the drawer. At most, I've had two bites a day, so they've been accumulating. At some point, I'll have to sneak them out and give them away to someone lest the temptation strike.

I just realized that since joining SP almost 2 weeks ago, I have not gone next door to the dollar store and bought a pop! I've had pop, but not every afternoon at work like I was before.

I'm happy that I've just resisted the potato waffles* in my freezer and am eating Brussels sprouts instead!

(*There's no equivalant in the USA but believe me it's not a healthy option!)
