I am fighting bronchitis, so I just did some stretching so far today. I will be taking it easy this week. Next week at work will be really busy with the boss coming back in town and deadlines to make.

I got 108 exercise mins in yesterday with stretching for 10 mins, doing a lot of walking for work and errands for work, and then walking the dogs in the evening.

today so far I did my 10 mins of stretching. I go to work this afternoon and will get lots of walking in then.

We might walk the dogs again this evening

then Saturday and Sunday in the early morning I will be walking with lady friends in a local park again. And will probably get in about 2.5 miles each day with that.

Monday was like a good normal day at work. Today was okay, but long and busy. I had to wait for my boss to come in this afternoon and get us both caught up on what the other has been doing while he was in Chicago. Then I had to run some errands for work after that too. I have to go in tomorrow too, and it could end up being a long day too. I got in almost 6 miles walking today.

I did 70 mins of exercise early this morning: Wii, yoga, walking the dogs. I got in 2.06 miles with the walking and jogging part. I did some free run on the Wii this morning. Started off with just ten mins as I haven't done it for a while. I will try to work back up to at least 30 mins.

When tracking in the SP exercise log, I will break it down. As somethings burn more calories faster. Like walking the dogs would burn more than doing a little yoga or beginner low impact Wii stuff.

When logging it in our team's exercise challenge, it is totally up to you how much time and energy you want to put into doing your logging. Since I am so busy I don't take the time right now to state a whole lot about exactly what I did and for how long each activity was. I just lump it in and give maybe a brief statement about what I might have done for each day.

Question for you all - if you do a mixture, do you track it here all separately, or do you just clump them together time wise as one exercise?

That is me, I am usually going the opposite way as the people on the Wii videos, LOL. Get turned around easily and can get lost easily. Doing better with it as I got older, and having a GPS really helps in the car.

I have multiple chronic pain issues with my arms, shoulders, and back and side muscles too. But just recently was told the scoliosis is playing a big part in a lot of that.

I don't do a lot of high impact either, I have multiple chronic pain conditions so I tend to stick to yoga, pilates, or low impact aerobics. I have Dyscalculia, too, so I definitely am not doing the steps the way the instructor is LOL. I usually end up the opposite of her. Thankfully it's Wii or a video, so she'll never know.

Today I walked dogs at the shelter and did some body weight strength exercises.

Great! I just have an old original Wii system that is probably 6 or more years old.

I can do the stepping if I am just stepping on and off. But I can't do the one right were it wants you to step on and off in all kinds of directions. I am dyslexic and not that coordinated, I end up stepping on and off in the direction that they didn't want me to go.

According "Live Strong" website: In terms of calories burned, a 2009 study of Wii Fit's most demanding aerobic activities by the American Council on Exercise and the University of Wisconsin showed the following average calorie expenditure per 30 minutes of exercise for the following Wii activities: Free Run and Island Run 165 calories; Rhythm Boxing 114 calories; Super Hula Hoop 111 calories; Advanced Step and Free Step 108 and 99 calories respectively. The study advises Wii Fit users to combine Wii Fit activities with a traditional fitness routine such as running or cycling.
I like the Free Run game as I can put the Wii remote in my zipped pocket securely away or on my wrist, and run around our house and chase our dogs around and let them chase me around like a game for us all and burn calories. I especially like it when it is raining outside so they won't want to go out for a walk, or if it is too hot outside or the pollen count is too high outside.
The rhythm boxing is another one that is hard for me to do correctly because of my dyslexia and poor coordination. Island run and the bicycling one are the same thing I end up sometimes turning an opposite way then what they wanted me to go and it cost me in points in the games. I like the Hula Hoop game too. But Free Run is my favorite.

I also have a Zumba and some dancing disc for the machine and like them, but I can't do the stuff correctly as I move and turn the wrong way sometimes when trying to do them. But with those I don't can if I don't do it correctly and they don't count it against me so much, it is more just counted if I am really trying to move around a lot, and not so much as if I am doing the exact same move in the exact same direction as they wanted me to go each time.

But I also have issues with my oblique right side muscles, my back and arms from scoliosis, that sometimes can hurt me to do too much high impact stuff like running and zumba so I haven't done a lot of it since my doctors and I figured out what was bothering me. I do a lot more of the low impact, warm up and cool down zumba dances then the medium or high impact. So I don't burn as much calories with it any more either.

I get most of my exercise now with house work, walking our dogs, and walking for work and running errands for work or personal.

But I am so glad you found something that will work for you. All my best to you always. Janette

I checked out the step aerobics on my WiiU the other day, and it turns out I love step aerobics. I had a video I bought sometime a few years ago on my shelf so I pulled my [unopened] step out of the garage and gave the video a try. WOW! I really broke out a sweat! According to the fitness tracker my 45 minutes of stepping burned nearly 700 calories emoticon

I did my usual 30 mins of Wii, yoga, walking. Then walked 6.31 miles in 125 mins for work and errands, for a total of 155 exercise mins, 7.06 miles and 15,534 steps all before noon. I stopped track after I got home at noon.
