This challenge is to read books that have been waiting on your To Be Read (TBR) list for over a year. Choose one book per month, plus two alternates. We're going to continue the tradition. .

REVISION: If you create your list 'x' months from January, you can create a book list that equals the remaining months in the year, plus the 2 alternates. This should make it easier to finish your list by the end of the year since your list is pretty much a book to read a month.

*******"Hi all! I thought I would start a little challenge on here since I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a TON of TBR (to be read) books just waiting to be opened. The object of this challenge is to help us clear off our massive TBR shelves. The "rules" are simple:

1. Pick 12 books (or one per month if starting after January) that have been on your TBR list for over a year. These can be twelve books you've had on your shelf or twelve books you've been wanting to read for at least a year. (Since they have been on your list for over a year, they must have been published before 2019)

2. Pick two additional TBRs as alternates, in case a couple of your TBRs are unreadable.

3. List your 12 books + 2 alternates.

4. "Cross off" the books as you read them.

The only real restriction is that the book must have been published 2019 or earlier. It can't have been on your TBR for over a year if the book itself is less than a year old.

I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone wants to read in 2020 and maybe sparking a few literary discussions as well!"
