Time and Again has been on my list for quite some time - I am drawn to it due to reviews but also that I love NYC - I do not like all sci fi - nothing alien n bloody - but the time travel intrigues me -

so - I went ahead and put a hold on it at the library - If we choose something else that is fine - or if someone has other ideas - looking forward to seeing them -

how about --- if there is no further input on book ideas or selections within a week - we can simply go ahead with Time and Again - ?????

My choice is Time and Again - Jack Finney. The reviews are great. I'm not a sci-fi fan but one reason for a book club is to try different genres and books others liked.

I have a few on my list -:

Time and Again - Jack Finney - a huge following for this book dealing with NYC and time travel

Mellenium - John Varley

The End of Eternity - Isaac Asimov

Lightning - Dean Koontz

seems they are all sci-fi - time travel - but that is my list for now - great reviews for all of them on good reads and in general -

Is there anybody else interested in resurrecting the book club selections? I would love to get back on track with this stuff.

Klad .. my reaction too. Also when walking through the fiction section of a bookstore I notice the same thing. I'll see a cover and think .. we read that ... a few titles later .. we read that, yada, yada. emoticon

For anyone looking over the list, were any of the books standouts as ''a most memorable" read?

Hi,

We're swapping some of our repetitive topics around for easier access. Here's a link to our list of books we've read for our group discussions because the original post will eventually be difficult to locate.
