I have plateaus also. Probably everyone does. After tracking my weight loss for 3 months, I notice that I have a pattern of a 2-3 week plateau, then a drop. Then I hold that weight for 2-3 more weeks before another drop. Just stay positive, and keep doing all the right things-- the drop is coming.
Something else that has helped me is strength training, along w the cardio (walking etc ) each week. Strength training builds up muscle, which increases your metabolism. However, it´s good to also measure inches lost, because muscle weighs more than fat. So, you could really be losing fat, and the weight of those nice trim muscles is making the scales look like nothing has happened! BUT, we know that it has by how our clothes fit, right!! Try to pump yourself up w all the good things you see happening (like more energy, better sleep, etc) while you´re waiting for the drop!! It´s coming!!!

Sounds like your body adapted pretty quickly to the changes you made and you hit the plateau faster than most folks.

Maybe toss in another 10 minutes of exercise? Or research a healthy snack and keep that on hand for the evening.

Tweek your food intake to make sure you are getting the most nutrition out of your meals even when you eat later in the evening go for the more nutritious snacks. Sounds like you are doing everything else right and just need to give your body the time it needs to adjust to the weight it is and when it's ready you will see a big drop and again begin losing. I have noticed I will plateau for two or three months and then suddenly the weight starts dropping off and I'm not even doing anything differently. I have stayed at the same weight all month even though I am sticking with my nutritional tracking and have begun exercising. I am losing inches if not pounds and so you may find that measuring your lost inches gives you a clearer picture of what is happening to your body with you doing more exercising than what the scales tell you. Remember you are sculpting a new you and that takes time, effort and patience to complete.

To me HEALTH means Energy. Stamina. Flexibilty. A relatively pain free body. Enjoying healthy food. You are your body, and your weight loss efforts will succeed exactly to the extent that you mange to do the work on behalf of your embodied self. You’ll do much better when you focus on making positive changes to improve your health and well-being, rather than on fighting your bad habits.
