Escape to our Mindful Garden

3/21/19:

I enjoyed an outdoor walk and saw three coyotes playing, it brough such joy to my heart that they are able to have peace and just be able to enjoy each other. I didn't think to take a picture of them.

I just leave the light on during daylight hours.

Cindy-- Thank you for posting....so the grow light stays on all the time, or just during daylight hours? I have never done that, and am so impressed with you for getting your winter plants by doing this....where there is a will, you've shown the way!!!

Here is another lovely Rainbow we saw this morning while on our walk.........It kept raining all morning and we waited for it to slow down to go out....then the sun came out and of course this showed up in the clouds......................

I our garden......so many pretty pictures--they cheer me up EVERY time I open this tab. Tonight I am drawn to the pink bromeliad......it changes each time I visit. I need to get some pictures in here-- it is such fun to see yours!!

Here is what I have blooming now!!!

One of the neatest things about bromeliads are their flowers. The flowers can stay blooming for months, but eventually they fade and die. This doesn’t mean the plant is dying; it just means the plant is focusing energy on the leaves and roots

We spent time yesterday visiting the nursery and potting some new bushes and flowers. Here is some of our handiwork:
