My goal today through 11:59 Saturday night... complete Beachbody's 3 Day Refresh. I'm half a day into it and feeling full although there's not a lot of food (vegetables and fruits) that goes with the program. Four shakes per day, lotsa water and some herbal tea.

11/2/17 - Today, I am thankful for my Church Circle. We are small but mighty and I am thankful for each lady in Circle. We are currently working on raising the $$ to buy a cart and a harness for a donkey we purchased not too long ago for a school in Kenya. I have no doubt we can do it.

Eat healthy and get in my workouts today and tomorrow as Friday is when I leave for vacation.

Also getting in a workout Friday morning before I leave and will have a healthy breakfast. I know I will get some exercise for this long weekend getaway (hiking / camping trip) but I also may not stick to a strict diet as it my BF's birthday weekend. I'm baking the Red Velvet cupcakes emoticon tonight so they will be ready to transport and eat on Friday!

My goal is for me to get my 3 flower beds weeded, plants thinned, bulbs split and spread out, mulch spread and my yard to be mowed and everything to be treated with whatever needed to "winterize" them. The plan is I won't have to do anything in the spring but spread "weed and feed" and enjoy the summer. emoticon emoticon . It doesn't should like much, but I've got 1 flower bed done, and another mostly weeded with all the plants in it where I want them. Once I finish weeding and putting down 3 big bags of mulch I'll be done with it too...tomorrow!!! It going to happen! It's my small goal, medium goal and large goal all in one. emoticon

I would love-love-love-love to get in a size smaller jeans by the end of the year.
Actually, would love to have that happen by the end of November... but one day at a time.

My plan to get there? Keep working out 6 days/ week and trying to stay on track (most of the time) with my eating plan. I say most of the time as when I completely 'deny' myself - I used to go off the food deep end. Now, as I've been on the 21 day fix for 7.5 weeks, I'm finding that compulsion to lessen. It's very freeing emoticon

Rubies, those are great goals, you have my support. Keep posting!

Met both of the goals I had set for today:

Got my laundry done which means several trips up and down the stairs and I did 2 SP videos.
One was 15 Minute Ball Workout and the other one was 10 Minute Cardio Burst, that one about did me in, it moves pretty fast.

Now for tomorrow I have an hour Tai Chi for Senior Balance class.

I weigh every Saturday and yesterday when I weight, I found I was only 3#'s from my first weight loss goal of -25#'s. I have not weighed 175#'s in like forever. My goal after that is another 10#. I am 5'7" so can carry a little extra weight but I'd feel most comfortable around 160.

Today, I am officially 6 week post op and doc said I could return to biking today. Yea

I biked 15 minutes and will add time every day until I get my time built back up.

My goal is 5-10 minutes added every day until I can bike 60 minutes.

For sure this is pumpkin season!
I didn't look hard enough to see if you had a recipe thread, came across this on fb. I would tweak it, using the smaller jars and maybe sub the vanilla pudding (seems too sweet)...any recipe is fair game to our liking - or not.

That's wonderful Kelly.
I love water aerobics and it's good to get right out there.

Mine is adding many recipes using pumpkin... emoticon ...it's so much fun adding to my repertoire of recipes and our kitchen continually smells like pumpkin and spice!...... emoticon ... Today was pumpkin and date muffins and yesterday was orange pumpkin pancakes.
( All low or very reasonable in calories)

Last week I met the goal of being brave enough to be seen in public in a bathing suit and water aerobics AND going back for two more sessions.

Ditto for a renewed enjoyment of being in the water for the rest of the year(s).

This recent talk of bone health what comes to mind is whatever works to avoid the side effects of big pharma. I'll go check out that link.

My goal today was to try some beginners zumba. The steps were confusing and I worked up a sweat. I liked it so I would have to so 70 mins of zumba goal met?

We are only "Slightly off the wall" ... emoticon ... and want to have lots of fun every day, but also some balance with healthy topics open for all of us to share! .... Visuallyrics also shared a good link today, that I put in my favorites! .... (forgot , we can be a little unpredictable as leaders on this team) ...... keeps it interesting I think.

I am picking up my studies of good bone health and prevention of osteoporosis....( See health or hazard thread)

Continue with a good plant diet, lots of vegetables and fruits.
Combine the exercises that keep bones strong :
Weight bearing, ST and walking.

Today my goal is to get 120 mins without my stationary bike, It broke so I put it to the curve.
I have yet to get started and I must do some cleaning first.

Someone brought mini cinnamon rolls in the office today. Unfortunately, the place where snacks are put is right near me. And who doesn't love a cinnamon roll... with your morning coffee. Oh boy! But... I will not let them over take me. NOPE... not me.

My goal is to only have one (80 cals). That's it! One.

My small goal is at 8:30 get up and make baked pork chops from a recipe I found and broccoli casserole also from a recipe I found.

Its a small goal because I have what I call kitchen anxiety. The recipe is new, I want it to taste good, I don't want to burn myself, I hope he tells me he likes it without me asking, I have to down size recipes and I hope I did it correctly. As well as during the day I must decide what to make, find a recipe, walk to the store (by choice), get extra ingredients and then wait till dinner to make it. The waiting builds my anxiety up as well.

I enjoy being kitchen friendly (my kitchen must be clean before and after I cook or I'm not happy)


11:37 pm This goal has been completed. My kitchen is clean. And I think the dinner was a success.
