You know, I can't eat the "store bought" bread either. At first I thought it was problems with gluten or something until I read the ingredients on the bread bags...stuff to make bricks out of, looks like...oil, water, processed flour, baking yeast.

I bought a bread machine and wow what a difference. I can have a sandwich and not suffer afterwards with indigestion. yay

I'm sure your bread is WAY better!! I love the way bread smells while it's baking.... I haven't tried any new foods in quite a while - I need some ideas!

Although I usually buy plain, non-fat Greek yogurt with zero added sugars, I discovered a brand called Two Good. These are individual yogurts in black cherry, strawberry, coconut, etc., with only 2 grams of sugar, compared to 5 to 8 grams for most yogurts.

I love pho! Am lucky to live in a city neighborhood that has lots of excellent Vietnamese restaurants, some within walking distance.

Today I picked up my bike from the shop--new tire and tube--and gingerly rode it for the first time in at least 4 and a half years. I was wobbly at first, but as they say, it's just like riding a bike!

Red lentil penne is a pretty good way to indulge my pasta cravings without giving in to highly processed carbs. It's high in protein and fiber, and it's pretty. Barilla is good, but I think I prefer DeCecco.

Not entirely new, but I bought Medjool dates. Very tasty on their own. Had some with yogurt and walnuts for breakfast.

I've been doing the LiveStrong plank challenge this month, doing many plank variations that I've never tried before. Some are pretty tough, but all in all, I'm seeing improvement and results!

Variety is the spice of life, they say, and new experiences can help us grow and teach us a lot about ourselves. Have you tried a new food, exercise, or other experience lately? Did you enjoy it, dislike it, or is the jury still out? If it was a new activity, was it challenging? How do you feel about being flat-out bad at something at first? Would you try it again?
