Have been FINISHING the June Challenge strong....Getting in cardio everyday....running/swimming/hiking Logging all my meals. Been trying to get 5 small meals a day (pretty successful). started a great new book. :-)

Have had two terrible weeks....got no exercise in last week and ate pretty badly! BUT started today and went to a yoga class at the church gym! Took the dogs on a walk and ate 5 healthy meals today! Hoping that the bachlorette weekend didn't do too much damage! JULY is going to be a hard month! So many things going on!

I am sorry I haven't been writing in my progress in this challenge...

J - I have done very well exercising, gardening, and walking this week
U - This is the area I wish I could say I have done better in. I am trying to cut down on the amount of TV I am watching now.
N - I have done pretty good lately in this area, but I often struggle on the weekends, when I am less inclined to track it. All the progress I make during the week is often lost when friends at church invite me out to eat. :0(
E - Well, my online class has finished, but I have discovered that both MIT and Stanford have some free online college-level classes (not for college credit, but they will give a certificate and it can help you learn something). I am thinking about doing this. In the mean time, I have been learning new things I can do with my toddler nieces and nephew that will help them to explore nature in my backyard. :0)

I went rock climbing on Saturday so got some J's in. It was a BLAST! Sunday I did tons of walking while my car was being detailed. Yesterday and today nuthin...

I did get my water in on Sunday, Monday and today

I didn't track my food again. It's so hard to when I eat out so much!

Downloaded some books from Audible. Fiction, but at least I am expanding my mind. lol

I am back from vacation....AND didn't get all my workouts in. Did get a good swim in one morning, did have to climb up and down to get to lake and cabin, and had a dance off on Saturday night, SO got some J in.

Didn't get all my water in, didn't eat that well (damn cheese dip), and didn't stick to portion control! BUT had a great time! AND jumping right back into the challenge. Starting the couch potatoes to 5k program this evening. Looking into finding a running group-anyone know of any??

Well I got a J on Sunday with swimming but so far that's it.

U--I'm trying to drink more water but am not getting even my 8 glasses which is really bad for me. I love water. For some reason the last six months it's been difficult.

N--not tracking my nutrition and I know I'm going over 1200 calories. Bah!

E--I found out that equal parts shaving cream and bleach will clean the grout in your bathroom, paint the bottom of the shaving cream can with clear nail polish and it won't rust in your bathroom, use shaving cream for a lubricant on a squeaky hinge. Lots of info!

Went to the gym today....weighed in and lost some weight!! emoticon Just not sure how to enter this in....please help??? Anyway I am hitting my calorie intake and working out. That sounds awesome! I need to get back to the gym but can't right now because my sister is out of town so Haley is with me 24/7. I can't get a guest pass for her because basically they want to give them to people who can buy memberships not teenagers who don't have $$. lol I have had a small amount of water but need much more. As soon as Haley is done getting ready, I'll be out running errands for about three hours. Sigh...

Good philosophy, Donna! How are you doing overall? Starbuck's again one of these days, okay?!

I saw my trainer at the MAC. I did a mile warmup on the treadmill and she walked me through my strength training while she assisted people. It was so nice to have the company and she adjusted a few of my mistakes...great way to start my Saturday. Half my water is down, so that's an accomplishment, too.

Every day gives us a chance to start over again. Learn from your mistakes and then forgive yourself and move on.

For me I seem to start over every day. At least I'm maintaining pretty much. I just need to get my act together and start eating right and exercising more. That's all it takes for me and the pounds will come off.

I did sleep well last night for the first time in quite a while. I'm almost through with my water and have had 2 salads today! I did a 2.5 mile WATP dvd this morning and will go to the MAC tomorrow. All in all, a good week!

Well I started strong but already fizzed out on Thursday. Had drinks with the girls on Wednesday sooo....went over on my calories and didn't workout Thursday! BUT getting right back on track! This calorie counting is really putting the drinking in the spot light. Never realized how much the drinking was holding me back from reaching my goals. Even a few can put you WAY over on your cal intake! Going to be more mindful of this!!! WE CAN DO IT!!!
