After a few weeks of fibro symptoms and a negative Covid test (just in case), I started getting better. Now I'm back to my fibro remission. Glad to be back to "normal"!

I have heard of many side effects like this. I am so sorry about that. Someone said it maybe your immune system is working in overdrive and is unable to turn off,. I sure hope you are feeling better!!

Have a great day!

I got my second Moderna shot back in February. I had bad side effects for two whole days, then they went away. About two weeks later, I started noticing that my fibro symptoms, which have been in remission for decades, started to return. Now I'm struggling with awful fatigue and arthritis in both knees and both hands. I've had these symptoms under control with supplements.

Anyone else notice that the Covid shots brought your fibro symptoms back? There's not much research out there on this, but my doctor said she's had several patients complain of the same thing.

Hadn't thought about that, but I actually had someone apologize yesterday at the store for standing too close!... before, they'd run into me and not say a word... LOVE that!

P.S. I looked up enthusiasm, and it says the root words mean God within... interesting...!

Thanks, me too! LOL
I'm actually trying some manifesting exercises, and the hardest part is the self-talk about not being able to afford things...
When I think about it, I actually have everything I need right now, and the rest I have to, just looking for the path to collect them. It's kind of fun finding better ways to be positive about the world right now. So much to love about things that can happen...

I may have to slow down activity during a flare-up, but I don't let it stop me. If I don't keep moving, it only gets worse. So, I do mild stuff, stretching and gentle strolls, a little light housework, etc, interspersed with frequent breaks that involve meditation, visualizations, ice packs, and/or moist heat... And, I take a narcotic. Not my favorite thing, and definitely not for everyone, but it's the only medication that has made a viable difference for me. I take quarter doses so it doesn't keep me sleeping on my feet. Then I find something funny on YouTube to watch! "Laughter doeth good like a medicine", y'know?
... and I SING!

What do you do for flare-ups?
Kathy

Because of the lockdown, I ended up with FOUR adults, my three cats and their dog, all living in a one-bedroom apartment! LOL

Of course, it gets crazy, and I have flareups... but there are advantages too. Like, I had to give up my van (too expensive) but now I have occasional access to a Lexus SUV. LOL

I'm looking for a new place (with lower rent!) since my lease is up at the end of July, but have not had any luck. Yet... prayers are not a bad idea...

Has being at home made your symptoms worse? Do you know of anyone personally or have you yourself been infected with COVID-19? Just a new topic to explore as I get used to being a co-leader...
