Oh my I did not think about my feet hurting this summer (extreme humdity in Indiana too) could be connected with fibromyalgia. I am going to have to research that.

It's been cold and cloudy here, today... never good for fibro when it comes down from some very hot days.
Sometimes we just have to grit our teeth and get on with things... Ouch.

"The real secret of success is enthusiasm..." thanks, Walter P. Chrysler. I believe it. That's what I want in my life--to give my imagination a chance, to live with energy and enthusiasm!
P.S. I looked up enthusiasm, and it says the root words mean God within... interesting...!

Ralph Waldo Emerson said 'Life belongs to the energetic.' But I don't think you have to be frenetic and hyper--some energy is quiet and steady, like a heartbeat... and that works too!

I was diagnosed with fibro at a relatively young age... at least at the time my doc said I was the youngest he had ever seen... I was 17. At the time I was active and healthy and not overweight.
Fast forward 20 years later and I am obese and inactive and yet I seem to have fewer symptoms than I had in the early years.

Today, however is a bad day. I just woke up with it. Everything hurts. Just.... hurts. My feet are the worst and walking is agony...
I just feel like no position is helpful.. sitting, standing, laying... nothing is helping.
Ibuprofen doesn't help. Tylenol doesn't help. I refuse to take lyrica or any of the other meds that supposedly work for fibro b/c the public side effects sound worse than the occasional fibro pain I have already.

I guess that's all I had to say. Just wanted to whine for a minute. I'm the only one in my family with fibro (thankfully) and none of my friends or coworkers believe it is a real disease, so they roll their eyes whenever I talk about it or have a bad day. They think I'm just using it as an excuse to be lazy or overweight. Whatever....
I just wanted a form to complain for a few minutes.

Thanks for reading :) I hope any other fibro friends out there who are having a painful day are feeling better soon!!!

Rules for Living:
1. Never Panic. Stop. Breathe. Think.
2. Nothing is ever as good or as bad as it seems.
3. The key to success lies in how you pick yourself up from failure.
4. Never regret anything. Remember there wasn't anything else that could have happened given who and where you were at that point in time.
