I'd like to join in this challange, but since I'm starting two months in, I did the math and to stay on track with your 30 lb goal I should be able to lose 18 lbs! :) I'm totally game for this!

13 weeks left until Turkey Day!! We can do this!

Been sick for the past week, so no workouts and eating more than I'm used to. That being said, I know it's what I must do and I will get back on track once I start feeling better. I didn't gain or lose anything this week, but I'm ok with that considering the situation.

So..... I finally managed to drop 4 lbs over the past 2 weeks. WOOHOO! This means I'm back to where I STARTED this challenge. So still have 30 lbs to drop. Turkey Day? Probably won't happen, but I'm certainly going to hope for 20 by then.
Back to 221 today, now to stay in the right direction...

I think this is just the challenge I need to get active on spark people again. I did a couple challenges last year that were about loosing a pants size a month which is roughly 10lbs and I did real well. I have been loosing and gaining the same 10lbs back for to long now I have 40 to 50 more lbs to lose before I hit my goal so I'm totally in if that's alright! I'm excited about getting back on track to success... Thanks for setting this goal up! emoticon

Okay I just started Spark people a few weeks ago and have not joined in on any challenges. I usually stay clear of them because if I don't meet the goal I tend to give up. I am game for this one so at the moment starting weight is 250 lbs. Aunt Flo is visiting right now so I will weigh in sometime after it is over to get an more accurate weight.

I hope it is not too late to start? I'm also assuming that this is by the US Thanksgiving in November? Not the Canadian one in October?

My current weight is 253.5 and I think I can do this! Should I start back when this challenge started or from today's date?

I managed to find 2 more lbs this weekend & am frustrated beyond belief!!!! So I was dropping 30 by Turkey Day & I now have 34 to drop by Turkey Day. What is wrong with me?!?!?!

I just had my second weigh-in, and it wasn't as much as I wanted.

Last week: 260
Today: 258.5
GW (turkey day): 233

I know 1.5lbs/week is supposed to be good, but I worked REALLY hard this week, and I was hoping to see more come off. Well, I'll just have to work harder this week.

BudBabe10: come on girl! You can do it :) Get up and do some cardio everyday, dance, walk or something and think about what you are eating. Everyday is a battle that we can win by doing small steps.

As for myself:
