Joining a bit late (4/30), but I already have some of these goals in practice already. I don't drink soda at all and I drink lots of water every day. I could probably cut down my coffee (2-3 cups per day), so I can focus on that and the exercise. It will be four days of the exercise today. I will also initiate the dancing (love it!),

Hello,

Day 1: 4/24 I drank 8 glasses of water. (Doc says I'm supposed to drink 15+ but I slacked off.) I did have a diet coke. (I don't drink soda often but boss is giving this free this month.)

Day 2: 4/25. 8 glasses water. No soda at all. I also walked 1 mile with my friend for the first time in months.

Day 3: 4/26 8 glasses water. Walked 1.25 miles. I ate a banana (don't usually eat fruit). And I hand tilled the garden for 10 min. (It's really hard so that's all I can do.)

Start Date - 4/26/16
Goal Weight- 216 (that's 1 pound a week- Slow, safe and do-able)

Today is my "Day 1" -

Water/Food Goal- 100 oz -- JUST STRAIGHT WATER
Fitness Goal- 30 minutes of walking (NON STOP) - Not a dancer but I can walk to tunes :)


Day 1 4/26: Water: 100oz
Fitness- No walking (random April SnowStorm) but I did do some rearranging of furniture so that got my heart pumping.

Day 2 4/27: Water- 100 oz
Fitness-- Lots of walking around work :/ This has been a crappy week for walking outside

Day 3 4/28 - Water 100oz
Fitness- Got my 10 minutes in-- only 10 but it's a start.

Day 4: 4/29 - Water 120 oz -- I drank so much water today that I feel like I spent most of the day in the bathroom!
Fitness- lots of walks around the office building- at a good speed! No "official" walk though.

Day 5 4/30 -- 80 oz (so far)
Fitness- 20 minutes of walking with friends, and 15 minutes of soccer with the neighbors toddler :)

Day 6 5/1

Days 1, 2, & 3 ~
I gave up soda a few months back but then had a few recently and they tasted way too sweet and gross. HOORAY! I'm drinking water all the time and SOME tea (that I make at home), but otherwise nothing else. Go me!

I had foot surgery a few weeks ago and was doing well with keeping it up and such but I'm tired of that so I tend to walk on it more than I should and get myself in trouble. I way overdid it on the weekend, but am feeling okay about it now. Going to help my kiddo with dishes and do some dancing today before and after that. Easing myself back into fitness.

Water won't be a problem, nor food in this challenge. When I eat healthy, I eat super healthy with one "cheat" day allowed per two weeks because that is how often we go out to eat). I don't drink soda, and mainly drink water. The work out part will get me. I have a bad back made worse by a spinal epidural last month.

Day 1: I drank 72 oz of water
Day 2: fell short at 60 oz
Day 3: 88 oz
Day 4: drank plenty, but didn't track
Day 5: drank plenty, but didn't track
Day 6: over 100 oz today
Day 7:


I sucked at working out this week. I got barely anything in. I lack motivation. Still, I've lost a little over 5 pounds this week. 11 to go for this challenge. I was hoping to hit my goal #2 in April, but I just missed it. Maybe I can hit two goals in May!

Week 1: Completed! Weigh in: 293. Drank plenty of water and had a great week for exercising! Somehow managed to loose 6 pounds this week!?! I have consistently been loosing ~2/week, so after a jump like that, I'm not expecting much loss this coming week, just in case it's water loss. Week 2, here I come!!

Day 1: Drank 8 glasses of water, danced 5 minutes.
Day 2: 35 minute Zombies, Run! walk/run, 9 glasses of water
Day 3:Bad day, I was at my grandmother's funeral all day. 6 glasses water, on feet most of the day, but no official exercise.
Day 4: 8 glasses of water (but too much salt!). No official exercise, still exhausted from the last few days.
Day 5: 8 glasses of water, no official exercise
Day 6: 9 glasses of water, 35 minute walk/run 5k training
Day 7: 5 glasses of water, all-day volunteer day being very physically active

This week kind of went off the rails for me after my grandmother's funeral Tuesday, especially on the food front. I am definitely a stress/emotional eater. Getting back on track for week 2!

I gave up soda about 6 months ago and drink nothing but water, selter water. I feel much better without all the artificial sweetener.

Food:Trade your soda/pop even sugar-free for WATER. Flavored waters are good too! Add lemon to give it a boost! (If you already do this... you are ahead of the rest of us!) [try to get at least 8- 8oz glasses by the end of the week]
Fitness: Crank up some tunes and dance for 15 minutes (per day) at least (more if you like)[add 5 more minutes each day]

I have changed my tracker to reflect the "Ending" date for the 6 weeks challenge!
Time to crank up the tunes and get it going full blast!

4-24-16~ DAY 1:
~Drinking the water & had a tea at lunch (not counting the tea, I had 7-8oz glasses of water! almost to goal. I think I can do this by the end of this week!
~Cranked up the tunes & dance for 120 minutes today! (I totally rocked this part of the challenge today!)

4-25-16~ DAY 2:
~Drinking the water! So good for me! 8-8oz glasses & some tea too!
~Picked out some tunes to jump around to! LOL
This girl can't dance, but she can wiggle & giggle to the beat & have fun moving her feet!

4-26-16~ DAY 3:
~All water today!!! 10-8oz glasses of water! I am so glad!
~Cranked up some tunes & had an awesome time dancing with my two year old grandson! He liked the jumping "Mamaw!" It was fun!
Then we spent time outside playing (45mins) with a giant frisbee! If you have not played with one of these... you are missing out! LOL

4-27-16~ DAY 4:
~ Not so good on the water today... two 12oz glasses & 3- 12oz diet pepsi & 3- 16oz tea
(lots of fluids, just not the right ones)
~ I did move & groove today! 120mins dancing & 60mins playing my mandolin (musical instrument) it does count! LOL

4-28-16 ~ DAY 5:
~ Water, water & more water! Got it going ON! Or rather going down! Yummers!
~Dancing to the beat! Got the tunes cranked & having fun! Also playing my mandolin again tonight! Dancing around while I play & sing!

4-29-16~ DAY 6:
~Got that water thing in the bag!
~Dancing for my fitness was the bomb Friday!
And for bonus!!! I did a special project that I have been putting off for far toooo long!
I got the hubs to put my shoe rack together & sorted my shoes, threw some out, donated some and kept some!
I have my shoes organized!
That got me to wanting to clean my bedroom!
I cleaned under the bed, both mine & the hubs dressers (his inside & out!) Mine just on the outside, my inside stays organized) LOL Difference between a man & a woman?) LOL I don't know. I do know that I feel pretty awesome about it!

4-30-16 ~ DAY 7:
~ water only today & taking it by storm! I feel so good about it! I actually want more!

~ have the tunes cranked & even done a little singing today myself! Got some dancing in AND worked more on getting things around the house done!
I have made flower arrangements for my son's girlfriend's mother's grave- decoration in two weeks. My son picked out the flowers among those that I have.
I made two flower arrangements for my brother-in-law (he passed away in 2001, decoration in three weeks)
I have two crossed painted waiting for paint to dry- to put flowers on for two other loved ones (decorations coming up)
I am now washing clothes & in the process of making a hanging arrangement for my Mother-in-law's cousin.
All the while I am doing these projects I am singing & dancing to get my fitness ON!
Work those projects Done Girl style!
