Way to go, Carol! Post a picture!

I finished my one big UFO for Dec, but I haven't touched Delilah. I think catching up on Delilah is going to be my January UFO. I'll have Oct, Nov, Dec to catch up on and January to do.

I finished the snowman quilt top except for sewing 3 panels together. I might fold it up in my Christmas drawer and wait till later in the year to quilt it. That way it will be ready for next Christmas and gifting! Carol

It occurred to me this morning that I need to sew the last couple of rows together for the Snowman quilt. Might not get it quilted this year but at least the top is done. I need to make 3 more pillowcases before we head out to NC next week. And a baby doll and bed. My two local grands might be coming to spend the night with us on Wed and if so, I will squire Hannah into helping me with Sewing. Brandon at 8 might enjoy the accuquilt. And I also think that there is no reason why he couldn't learn to sew as well. Although left handed. Carol

Our LQS where I've been teaching classes has earned her Bernina license where she can sell machines and finance them. Took her two years to get to this point but she has done super well with it. She now has a Bernina long arm where she offers classes to learn how to use it and rents space on it. I may do this for bigger quilts but not right now. I'm very proud of her because when she started out 2 years ago, she had a few fabrics and a few machines but not much else. The shop is loaded with fabrics now, many on sale for $7 a yard. But I went for a specific 1/4 yd yesterday to make a pillowcase for granddaughter and that is all I bought. sEveral of our shops are closed next week until Jan 2 and I expect a big sale coming up. Whoo HOO! Carol

I was thinking about the pillowcases for family and looking at fabric. Trying not to buy any. One grandson is a musician in middle school and I have some note fabric and some with a piano and instruments on it for the cuff. The baby will be 3 and I have Disney princess fabric for her. The middle grandson I'm not sure, but I have some grey fabric with tone on tone robots on it that I could add a neat cuff to. A pretty one for daughter in law and not sure about my son. He has a NE Patriot themed one. I could do FSU but I'm tired of FSU. I could make him an American flag themed one. That is probably what I'll do as he is a history teacher. His father in law was a fireman and I have fabric for that and his mother-in-law can get something pretty as well. I would use up a lot of fabric and everyone would get a great gift. I'll be busy this weekend I think. I'm inspired. Carol

2. Bind Moon and Stars and write pattern.
3. Finish Snowman kaleidoscope quilt. Maybe I could even get this quilted prior to Christmas?
4. Ringo Lake
5. Fill up project planner for 2018.

Its Dec 1 and 24 sewing days until Christmas.
My UFO for December is to fill up my project planner book with projects for next year.
And finish up whatever I need to finish up. I had thought about making pillowcases for everyone. Since we have to mail a package to son in NC, maybe I can do that this year. Appropriate fabric for everyone! That would use up some stash. Carol
