Hi MACANBEFIT - I remember dropping many a hula hoop when I first started with that exercise. For me, the trick was to stand with my toes turned out somewhat (as opposed to keeping my feet straight ahead) and then to concentrate on moving my hips in a smooth circle with enough speed to keep that hoop up. Hoping that may help you a bit. Good luck!

Hey CHESHIRE78: Try using a mat or towel folded up under your knees and if you tent your fingers a little (not lifting your palm off the ground) and press through your fingertips, it takes pressure off your wrist and strengthens it. Or you can make a fist and keep your wrist straight.

My Wii Fit age tends to be all over the place. Today it was 36 and I'm 33. We'll see what it is at the end of the week!

CHALLENGE: Jan 29 - Feb 4 Waist Whittling With Wii

This week's exercises will focus on our core and doing exercises that will help us whittle away our waists with our Wii Fits.

To start things off, let's do the Body Test and report our Wii Age at the beginning of the week & again at the end. How big a difference will you get between your real age and your Wii Age? Will it improve through the week? Good luck!

Now, do each of these exercises at least once per Wii Fit session this week. You can do as many reps as you want to try for better scores and more of a workout of course; but only once is required.
