Took DS back to college today, so no knitting got accomplished, although I did get to go to the yarn shop there! Score!

Entralac looks so pretty I have not tried it yet - but I do want to make something out of it.. I had fun at the center today as we all were talking knit and crochet - a lady brought in a bag of yarns and we all went wild to grab our fav color..

All three shawls are doing well. Not much progress on the lace, got the last clue for the mystery tonight--2x2 ribbing, so I've done enough of that to drive me crazy, and plan on looking through my edging book and maybe find something....more interesting...to finish it off. The entrelac made good progress today!

I am doing a lace pattern on 10s with the rainbow classic from Sensations. It is ranked as a bulky yarn, but is self striping in white and a very soft green. It is gorgeous! Very fuzzy, so I have to worry about felting when I tink, but it is worth it! The stained glass entrlac is still going strong as well.

Doing a pair of socks for myself. Paton Kroy Socks pattern for Jacquard and Striped Socks.

I finished the first one in 8 days. Just cast on for the second. I am doing a long tail cast on, but now I am afraid that the stripes will turn out differently. I didn't pay any attention to how much yarn I used for the "tail" on the first one. Oh well, these are going to be lounging-around-the-house socks anyway.

Working on a blanket for a housewarming gift, which I had hoped to have done two weeks ago. As it was, the intended receiver's daughter saw what I was working on and decided that I needed to make her a hat and mittens for her birthday, so I guess that is next for me when I get done.

Hi - a newbie here, so bear with me (see question at end*)

I just finished a pair of socks (Nanners by Wendy Johnson) for the Sock Knitters Anonymous group's July challenge and am about to start a super pair of stranded socks(Butterflies Are Free by Raveler Rosehiver) - I just need to make up my mind about the colors to use.

I also recently finished and wrote up the pattern for a Baktus-type shawl/scarf and will probably knit another one to test the written pattern.

I've probably got about 2 doz. projects on the needles, but nothing that I'm currently WORKING on. Most are in "time out" for one reason or another.
Now, do you want to hear about the projects I *intend* to do???? ;-)

*My question is - I see that I am replying to an individual message (Hi, LAURPUD), but I didn't intend to. How do I just add to the thread, like I can do on Ravelry?

I have a new project going. It is mint colored super sheen fingering yarn. The pattern is from Leisure Arts leaflet #2042 printed in 1991. I am knitting the "Topaz" Lace Yoke Pullover. I knit it a couple of years ago, but have been unhappy with my tension inconsistencies in the body of the sweater, so I ripped it out a few months back. I started it again Friday evening and have the 200 stitch ribbing done and am 4-1/2 inches up the body working on #6 circular needle. Now I am knitting 218 stitches in the round. It is boring, but I will see it through. I knit the Lacey yoke before and am confident I can do it again. The lace will beachallenge for me, but I am Stretching my skills these days.

I completed the scarf I was knitting. Today I purchased two new skeins of sock yarn. I really do not sneed more yarn, but have no sock yarn, so I treated myself when I found some really pretty yarn in pinks and reds -- variegated. Yummy stuff.

Working on a dishcloth - last in a series for myself! When this one is finished I can then use my new dishcloths and coordinating dish towels.

Also, have 3 summer tops that I hope to accomplish this season. Just need to keep on my program so they look as good on, as they do on my needles! ...and a pair of summer socks.

You can see them on my projects page on Ravelry: devonnejoy
